Great JOB Spain!
I couldn't break away from the phone conference I was on to help this one out. Glad to see Spain brought what it takes to the battle! I guess I end up with another 1000 general contention points. Dreck Morrison Section31 |

After all disconnects, I believe it was 16 vs 16. Spain was a little out gunned in the match. Brits had I think 2 4th rates more. And Spain lost 7 maybe 8 ships in the battle, but came out the victor's.

The sides were even in numbers and too close to bicker over who had more firepower. The Spanish started on the eastern flank, door 3, and the Brits started out of door 2 to the south. The Spanish formed 2 lines side by side with a third group of 6 trailing. After formed the Spanish halted the line and waited for the Brits, we were sure they would lean to the NW due to the wind and they did (dont think they had much of a choice). At this point the front 2 Spanish lines moved to engage the front end of the British line. Once the majority of the Brits turned to the west, away from the Spanish 3rd group, the 3rd group moved to the SW and were able to get behind the Brit line. At this point it became a slug fest and the Spanish were lucky to come out on top.
Losses were heavy on both sides. Good fight Brits... /tiphat Miguel Santos Cartel Espana NO |
