Stellar battles tonight, I was afraid that France would not field enough after the Jaqueme deal, but turns out OMG and company are made of sterner-stuff. Glad to see how you guys do battle, I like that light-heavy maneuvering you guys do, gonna take that one to the board and practice up. See ya'll in game.

Actually, not to discredit OMG, but I take offense at that statement. All of France is made of "sterner stuff".

All of France came together after Jaqueme. La Federation, OMG, Grenville Coalition, Compagnie des Carolines, Perroquets and many others I'm not even aware of and don't know that well (don't mean to exclude fellahs, represent in a reply!).

There was horror over the loss of my ship, some frustration in several camps, but I think my response was, "So? Let's go kill them ALL".

You can ask the British how France feels about 2nd rates. Bigger ships = bigger toothpicks.

I agree 100%. I know I wouldn't still be playing if I wasn't. I remember the days when /whocount showed less then 15 people in my Nation online. Too bad RL keeps me out of portbattles lately.
