When I hear the 'Mont Blanc', I immediately think of the munitions ship that blew up and took out Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1917. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halifax_Explosion

I looked it up, however, and wikipedia also lists a french 74-gun 3rd rate, from 1791.

Just noting that I have hardly seen as many developers' posts one close to the other in the same thread as in this thread.

I don't know others, but I find it rather unusual given the topic of it.

Often I see threads of arguments quite more vital to game playing which for days if not weeks go unanswered by any developer.

Not ranting, don't get me wrong, just trying to understand what the underlying logic may be that promps developers to answer so much in a thread and so little in another.

It is mere curiosity so, bear with me.

This boat is obviously a tribute to me. I am Mort Blanche. It translates to white death. I am pleased and truly honored the dev's have done their research on who the best FT in the game is and have decided to honor me in such a way. My boat of choice is the Oliphant MC, I have sent many oponets to the bottom of the ocean in it. This seems very fitting, that the Mont Blanc is a Reift of my boat of choice. They have named a mountain after me and then they have given it sails! Once you see Mort Blanche sailing his Mont Blanc, be sure to /tiphat. I /tiphat to the dev's and boat design team for their hard work. Keep up the good work!

This is a "safe" question that they can just drop an answer to and not worry about the consequences. Any time they say something in the hot topic threads, they have to either be vague, mention what they are doing to fix it and lock themselves into a solution, or admit they aren't doing anything about it yet. None of those are things to do lightly, and Rusty is really the only one that does it at all.

Mont-Blanc means White Mountain, how can it be a tribute to a guy named White death ?

They have named a mountain after me and given it sails. The mountain being the hull and armament equiped on this boat, the sails what makes it fly. The name? Well Mort Blanche and Mont Blanc have some eye rhyme going on. White is 50% of my name and 50% of this boats name. Re-read my post before you acuse me of smoking anything my friend! I believe 100% that this boat is named for me. I know many jealus haters who do not have a boat named after them will continue to bash my claims. They will say I must be on drugs. Well I am not on drugs, and consider such claims filled with spite and venom, and that they are meant to be derogitory. I will sail my Mont Blanc with pride. I am already preparing 2 MC Oliphant deeds to quickly refit, so that even if the Mont Blanc sinks, it will quickly be seen on the oceans again. I would once again like to thank the design team for making my favorite boat even better!


BTW: Even if I am wrong ( which I most certainly am not ) it will be a sight to see Mort Blanche FT lvl 50 sailing his Mont Blanc.
