LOL I so agree, which is why I use heavy frigates when fighting rats on the OS... alot less costly, even though a 4th rate is so much nicer.

Booty I am going to have to disagree with you on this one.... here is why

I had a group of four guys.

Me - Privateer Mignone
Kal - Tigre MC
Simon - Raa MC
Eagle - Herc

We killed:
4 Heavy Hercs
1 Herc Sleek
1 Priate Herc
Various other not so important ships

I know there have been groups of cutters out there fighting, but I have not done that... up in Cayo this weekend I have been in groups that pounded everything that came at us, and the only ship lost to any of the groups I was in was a MC Strals.

You can thank me and Neville for the cutters. Made mine for soloing perma-flagged ships, and it just caught on. Plus more MOVs from those low levels we sunk at Nassau. And I didn't feel so bad since most of those ships could have easily taken me.

Sunk a rat stralsund in it outside of Grenville yesterday. Don't remember the name, but whoever it was is damn skilled. Had he been using repairs he could have easily beat me. /tiphat to whomever you were. Can't wait to see them at 50.

Well this thread is a sad indicator of the current state of the game where nationals are too scared to enter the bubble in anything other than paper ships and pirates have very few targets to kill.

Personally I have been more concerned with winning the map rather than hardcore pvp for the last few weeks and as can be seen from the current positions it has paid off even though winning the map is not that special it would be nice to achieve my objective.

If pirates do manage to win this round then I think we can say that we will as a nation be less concerned with it next time and that may give the weaker nationals like France some breathing space.However I think the sooner FLS consider further server mergers the better cause atm pvp is pointless with no real rewards from killing level 50s in mediators and a few lame ganks of low levels/haulers dont really give anyone any great excitement.

One option that FLS should consider to deter the paper boats is to always give 5 movs and 5 mots for the killing of any level 50 regardless of the boat they are using.It is in fact twice as hard to kill small fast boats as it is big ones yet the reward for killing a level 50 in a cutter atm is 1 mov and 1 mot.This gives no incentive to chase down and exterminate these pests but making it 5/5 would surely change that.

I think I heard a Spanish suggest we transfer because of port battles at times he has to work or something.

The funniest things posted in this thread are by people of which I know hardly play and when they do don't really PvP at all. I could call virtually anyone out in the Spanish nation. There are only a few who live up to the **** they talk and everyone already knows who they are.

Fact is, this server lost its competitive edge and is only getting worse. I'm not too sure why you all even bother with this sub-par forum drama trash.

Another fun fact is, if you're going to let the price of your ship be the excuse to not take somebody on...then it's gg and you basically called yourself out as a *****. In fact, when it comes to talking **** make sure you login at least 2 days a week for decent amount of time to be noticed in a red circle. The only time a pirate group is tough is if you suck...in which case...you do.
