You totaly missed his point. It's not just Phercs. Its all hercs and rated ships that make all other none LSB ships utterly useless. I like the Tigre MC. But now they are nerfing it too hell, and it already sucks alot since herc heavy because easy to get and got buffed.

It is true that I was only speaking about cash... but the drops sucked anyway. We were trying to flip a port so we were not taking every ship. On an average we get about 150db on a large ship if we scavenge the ship.

LSB for those rate ships are high i agree ... devs need to cut them by half or even more ... then pvp will be much more fun !

I played on pirate side before, now i play on Spanish side till nowdays. I wont wait till next patch, last silly patches made me sick, i leave on 05.23. for AOC. I didnt want, just this game became boring because of unplayability of OS battles. What pirates have nowdays: best damage bufs! best repair capabilities! best speed! best and cheapest ships!
1. about best dmg i dont want to make an argue, just read the talent trees (15% dmg buffs on a shoot against 30-40%, lotta constant dmg buff on pirate side, what nations dont have)
2. repair capabilities: the same, read talent trees
3. if we have freetrader, privateer and naval in a group of six, then we can buff each other for a short time to reach the pirates über speed, and ur speed buffs are mostly toggled, so constans. When i was a pirate with a Triton i could reach over 30 knots, on Nation side with same outfittings i didnt reach 25 with all my speed buffs.
4. pirate herc: amazing firepower, acceleration, DEFENSE, cheap price, only comparables with second or first rates, wich cost 3 million/dura against Pirate Herc max 300K/dura. OMG.
On pirate side if u have a group of six, u can slaughter everybody. If u get a heavy group, u can play the "we keep them fire and change each other on shooting position till others just get auto repair out of range". With that tactic, what can be played all the time with ur über speed, u cannot loose, just win or run.
So the conclusion: Ninja, with ur starting thread u just showed how skilled player u are, u dont know the enemy as urself skillz too. Organized, skilled, pffff.....

I must oppose. Please ask Captain Oranjebaard about his lone Hercules Sleek successfully running from my speed-rigged Minerva, buffed by full group. And I'm very sure his basic unbuffed Max Speed was much lower than my basic unbuffed Max Speed.
Therefore I suppose that if Pirates specialize on speed, they'll be quicker than Privateers.

I am not whining but on Antigua I raced a rat with the exact same fittings ( I am a privi) he was in a MC hermes I was in a hermes sleek and we went more or less dead even and I had all the privi speed buffs, when he added dump guns he was away. maybe most privi's you chase have full speed mods? A pirate herc costs just over 700k btw not 1.1 mil. just thought i would clear that up
