This is a great idea, just hope they are worth it, and I'm sure they will be. One thing though, remove the MoV trade-ins for clothing and make it money based.

Alternatively allow us to enter a larger tailor shop and have access to a wardrobe where we can store outfits. Maybe add a tailor shop to all ports?

How avatars look is a big part of any game where they represent you. Outfitting like armour etc could show on your avatar.
Yes! Especially the last part.

I really want more skull and crossbones logo on shirts and hats and pants and coats in the game at the beginning

ps I have a good suggestion for making the game harder make it level 1-100 but at level 1 start with one gun then level 2 two guns and so forth

Ok, to start of i want to say that i am SOO happy that we are finally getting some more clothes. i havent seen them yet but im looking forward to them.

so i agree that we should be able to change our clothes on our ship (which yes means walking around which i have stated would be great in many 'a forum) or in port at the tailors.

i dont think we should be able to change our clothes anywhere (deffinatly not just walking around town) but confine it to our ships (which you should be able to go on) and the tailors.
this would give us a lot more freedom and yet not too much. (i mean really have you ever seen someone walking down the street and randomly change their clothes?)

i also agree that your career should affect your appearance. like you should not be a british NO running around looking like a pirate (which i have seen countless times)
so yes, you should be confined to look somewhat like a BRITISH NO but still be able to be creative. (oh and you shouldn't be british and look like a frenchy, it's just not right)

thanks for reading, if you have any thoughts please /discuss

I think more ports need a tailor but that the customisation available at the tailor is too extreme. There should be less options because you've already chosen your character's face, hair, etc.

Hey all, Bert here to talk about some upcoming new content for ya’ll. Pull of a comfy chair and listen up. Set? Here we go.

Repeatable Group Missions!

Players of all nations will find a new set of missions located in the French port of Orleans, which has become the front in a budding war against an alliance between La Confrérie Libre and the Varyags. These two evil pirate groups have formed a shaky partnership and have set their sights on razing Orleans. Players will be taking the fight to the Confrerie and Varyags while earning a fair bit of coin in the process.

These missions are balanced for a group of three level 50 captains who will be able to complete them once a day. We’re trying new things with what these missions offer, trying to change up what players generally expect when entering into any of our ship battles by making each of these missions a completely unique encounter.

So set sail for Orleans and take the fight to the evil Confrerie and Varyag pirates!

Luxury Clothing Vendors!

Now that you’re making mad cash doing the daily group missions, it’s only fair we offer ya’ll something to spend it on. Enter the Luxury Clothing Vendors. These special vendors will be setting up shop in the tailor shops of all nations’ capitals. Players who want to further customize the look of their avatar will be able to buy new hats, coats, and boots that will then be available in the tailor shop.

This is something new for us and we’re all seriously excited about the prospects of what we can do with this type of shop going forward. We hope to continue rolling out more clothing options for players to buy, as well as eventually offering purchasable Titles to really make your characters stand out in a crowd.

Mat Stahlman will be sharing a Devlog pretty soon talking about the individual clothing pieces, so be sure to check it out!

Cheers
