is this alone the lines of what you were thinking of?
To submit items for in game use you must:

go to http://www.burningsea.com/page/home (pirates of the burning seas home page

on the left side menu under “user content” click “my content”

you will have to log into the site with your game user name and password this is sonys website and it is safe to log in

if you are taken to the voting page then remember you need to vote apx. 10 times to be able to submit one item in My content ( you can que up to 5 item submittions)

then click on the left menu “my content” it will bring up the submissions page. You have lots of options here you can place into voting a flag or sail, put it into reviewing (thats means you can post it in the forums and get more feedback make changes before placing into voting)

it will show you a list of items you have in voting or review and there status

With the “hot or not” voting style the more you vote (for yours or your favorites) the sooner they will get in to reviewing by FLS. While voting you should remember that while some stuff looks really cool it may not get into the game. Thats why you went and ask someone to help you with your items (me or anyone on the forums) we have a working knowledge of what would most likely be approved. We don't have “inside” info. Just spent the time to read the guidelines and maybe have so talanet with a computer drawing program. That is why I posted all the info I could find on the forums here to make it easer if you wanted to do it yourself.

When FLS (flying lab software) reviews you items you will get an e-mail (not in game but in the e-mail addy. attached to your account) if approved, you will need to go to your “new player” port in game to buy your items (10 db's I think) and you only need one (for you toon) as you can't lose it, if rejected it should tell you what the problem was...if I did it let me know and i'll fix it...there is also a review froums here: http://www.burningsea.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12464

if you feel that your item was missunderstood or whatever...

here is your sail right click "save picture" and don't worry the sail background is added in voting...good luck i'll go work on the crest (as a sail and flags to match) ** updated here are the rest enjoy

im a bigpond member and cant seem to log into the sony page with the same details

Love the job you did on the crest looks great done my family proud lol. However i was wondering is it possible to havethe cross removed from the southern cross so its just the constelation and meaning no disrespect but was the first flag your showed me not acceptable i liked it very much

Greetings Photo Editor Savy people!

I would like to request a Flag design. I don't have a picture handy but this is a pretty simple design, atleast in my opinion. I can dig up some pics if needed I believe.

I'm wanting an "american" flag but in place of the blue "stars" field I'd like a blue Fleur De Lis flag. Think of it as a Framerican Flag.

I do have one question though. This flag design is pretty basic and I suppose its possible that another player already has this submitted. If that is the case is there anything I need to do before I submit? I don't want to be accused of ripping off someones design or whatever. Is there a place I can look through all the submitted flags to see if this one already exists?


And as far as Sail designs go, I'll be back on that one. I haven't really had any good ideas as yet.

Ok, here is the first flag done in 3 versions the first is full color you can submit it as is, it's close to the acceptable color limits so it's 50/50 on approval the 2nd and 3rd (a tattered versing) should go with no problem as for the southern cross...I'm outta time right now to do it but I'm sure someone else can whip one up for you

hi i have attatched here some proposed images here done courtesy of vonblack & Co unfortunately he was unable to have them lodged as i am a bigpond user can someone please help.

i also ask if there is a second crest that can be designes exactly the same but with thf in place of the horn, making a soc shield a flag of the same image could be great as well thanks.
and lastly the sails i post have a red cross behind the southern cross can i have that removed please.

OK if this is your soc. then you need to be the one that submits the flag and sail cuz if someone else does they would be the only one that could get them in game...so if you need more later you could not get them with out asking the other person to do it.
as for the changes I can make those for you, maybe Fri. I don't understand is this web page different somehow for people with the bigpond log in? if you look at the "home" link click that on the right side should be something that say User content, under that should be submit content click that it should ask you to log in to vote do so (does not have to be an sony login) if you can see the voting pages you should be able to submit content you have to vote about 20 time pre submission...maybe someone else can make it clear on how to do it also if you are save'n the thumbnail images that will not work you have to right click on flags and save picture as... on sails you need to right click to open then right click to save.
