Hope everyone is cooled down after Orleans.

Brits made a huge mistake there in terms of communication. Blame rests with them - but well, this is war and such things happen.

Lets continue to keep a good tone, in-game and here on the forums. I myself lost my cool abit, as a brit player I respected asked if a few HHs were all right for the battle, then turns up in a full 1st rate group.
While I personally forgive you British for messing it up at Orleans, it puts an end to any agreement we have - the non lsb battles being the last one in effect. Now follows all-out war.

Im but the chairman of the French council - and cannot speak as more. But I recommend the French council to:

1) Use our superior skill on the OS to keep British eco ports in the red, forcing losses on their OS capability and forcing them to anti PARTY escort their merchants.
2) To defend our ports vs the British onslaught. Especially on the OS - but also in PB.
3) To keep meeeting the British in PBs to the extend of our capabilities, inclicting upon them as many losses as we can. But in doing this effectively - please follow designated PB commanders. Orleans saw 10 ships sailing away from the fleet, against orders. If you are not prepared to follow PB commander (even if it cost you your ship) and to get on TS, dont accept invites please. Your presense severely impacts our ability to fight effectively.
4) Leave Spain alone, taking only non critical ports at the same pace as the British - to ensure no easy map win for them again. Victory goes through defeating the British, not through grabbing free points from Spain.
5) No pardon for Brit lvl 50 ships, caught in battle. We need the MOVs, and we need them to loose ships :-)

Lets get over the whining! That will bring us nowhere. Yes Brits are stronger than us. And they can probably nightflip Cayo at will - and take it in the ensuing PB through weight on colossals.
If thats what they want to do, so be it. We will fight them at every turn, and if you rally behind the Council - victory will be ours. Maby not tomorrow, but in time.

Moving servers fixes nothing my friends. Im sorry some of you feel like un-subbing after Brit massacre of our non-lsb fleet at Orleans. But dont - you will miss ur revenge :-)
Those of you dismayed by Brit show of colossal force, and who as a consequence want to change servers, do so. Im afraid being French means you need an iron will to face impossible odds. If you dont have that, its pointless to fight under the fleur-de-lys. Roll British then.

Brits - all deals are off! Use your strength as you please. You wont see me begging for mercy - nor the proud French nation. We will fight you in this world and the next. And we will make you pay - no more easy wins for you no-more.
Nightflip all you want - but know that you are in fact only limiting your own game fun in the long run.

French - rally on me. Remember what we had 6 weeks ago? Nothing! What do we have now - a nation! While I cant take much credit in the rebirth of France - stay loyal to the Council. It amplies our strength 10-fold to stay united and fight as one. You disagree with my current leadership - sack me. Takes only a 1/3 vote of mis-confidence on the council CSNF forum. Ask your council rep to initiate that, if thats what you want.

So what if Brits screwed up at Orleans - tomorrow we flip their eco towns and camp the buggers. We loose a town, move your industry. We loose our deep water ports, save up your resources and wait till we get a new one. And Im sure Spanish shipwrights will be in a position to help us, should that happen.
But first and foremost - fight! I have seen the Brit giant bleed, and I like the taste of it. If we stay together & fight together, we will dismantle it, ship by ship.

Good outlook Zaalkin and to forgive the Brits makes you a bigger man than I, myself i can`t, it was my first Pb and like the rest of the french was told it was a non-bundle training port and was looking forward to it, I believe we would`ve lost but i was game to take a few brits with me, would`ve given me some good training and would`ve started grinding ports as much as i could...at least this was my hope. Instead we just walked into a shooting gallery, killed my joy

Well - I was under the firm impression they (non colossal PBs) were on. I still am confident we (the two of us) agreed they were, Im almost certain I had an understanding with Hellion also about this, when I took up comm for the 1st time, after his appointment as chairman. Just to make sure, I checked it in area chat also, just before the battle...

Agree on the mis-comm part. Disagree on the "crazy" part. Dont understand the "again" part at all?
Im not "all crazy" at anyone. Im just calling full scale war - underlining that there is no deals now.
As for ppl getting mad - I suffer much more verbal abuse from Brit players than I ever return. Your players are as good at getting mad as the French. You just have alot fewer opportunities to get mad :-)
Remember when a Brit 2nd was denied surrender. Damn - I was flamed back there. Now imagine Orleans the other way around. How do you think brit playerbase would have reacted, if not with outrage.

We can throw mud all day. It is my firm conviction that France holds the moral high ground on this one. That there was indeed a miscomm on the non lsb battle, thats due to you and Hellion, and a small part due to Talon - who should prob not have joked with the HH's. But now its quite plain to us, that there is no such thing no more.

And with non lsb PBs gone - so is our last agreement, French and Brits in-between. And its full scale war once again.

I'd wish you good luck Tikkas - but we both know that would be a lie :-) Lets all leave the forum wars, and go back to the OS wars, all....
