character detail comparison - in/out of tailor shop

my character is less detailed and more pixelish (sorry, i dont really know graphics terms) after i leave the tailor. he also looks more detailed in at the character selection screen (no pics of that).

ive all graphics options turned to max. can anyone think of a reason why this is happening? is it a known issue being worked on?
