"Invalid Trial Key Info"

Ahoy!

I'm trying to get a 14 day trial key as I've thought about playing Pirates for a while.

I entered my email and received a link, clicking the link takes me to a page that says:

"Invalid trial key info. Click here to join the free trial."

So I tried my other email and got a link to the same page...?

Any help please?

I downloaded it from www.burningsea.com then where it says free trial at the top. There's 5 files to download 3 of which are rather large so it will take a long time to download unless your on fibre . I have now signed up with Station and tried to run the game from the desktop icon. After selecting free trial i tried launching the game and station is now updating it (which is going to take a couple of hours) so maybe i'm now on the trial? I will let you know if it's working once it's updated.

I was waiting for the key, thinking it would provide the dl afterwards. this has saved me a bunch of time.

The best way is to use Station Launcher (which you get as part of downloading those 5 files) and once you login with your station username and password, simply click on Pirates of the Burning Sea in the game list and click try the game and you'll automatically get a 14-day trial, with no need for a key

Aegir is quite right. After Station Launcher updates the game you can start playing on the trial.
