Thumbs down >setupnew\setup.cpp (143) error (Using the Station Launcher)

I installed the station fine, then when I went to open it. It opened a webpage stating I needed the new updater, I downloaded the new StationLauncher and went to launch it and I got the following error box.

>setupnew\setup.cpp (143)
PAPP;
PVENDOR;
PGUID;
$
@Windows Vista Service Pack 0 (6000)
IE Version: 8.0.7100.0

I am running windows 7, I downloaded the directx fix I saw linked around here as well. At this point I am out of answers. I tryed running as administrator too even though I am the cpu admin. Still no luck.

My best suggestion is try uninstalling and reinstalling Station Launcher. It's possible that there are some corrupt files for some reason.

If that doesn't work, check out our support site and file a ticket. Our support team may have more suggestions.

This issue seems to show up when installing Potbs from the Burningsea.com website.

If you go to station.sony.com and download their launcher and download the game from there, it works fine.
