Brits: 20 (7ish 3rd rates, assorted Herc variants, a couple mont blancs and macedons, archelon)
Dons: 23 (2 3rd rates, assorted Herc variants, couple mont blancs and macedons, 1 lv 33 in defiant. Havana Harbor - one of my favorite maps. Dons come out circle shield (harbor defense). Brits come out closed hilt handled sword (north attack) - only door available to them. Brits decide coming south towards harbor through the narrow channel is a bad idea (wise choice) and sail east to open sea to approach with wind from the east. Dons set up a nice double line in harbor... at perfect distance to protect town defense gun and also make Brits commit to sailing inside the two islands if they want to engage. Brits set up and make a pass at our line. First exchange - Dons sink 2, Brits sink 0. Dons chase them back out south of island and head back into harbor. Dons set up similar line as first time and wait for Brits to make a move. Russian macedon somehow makes it back to safety on 199 structure. Wow. Brits setup a line charge with their NO's. Brits charge and chaos ensues. 1 Don boarded and the Brit was sunk. Blob fight ensues to the west out of the harbor. Many Brits get sunk in harbor. Brits sink 3 Dons (1 MontBlanc, 1 Valiant and the Defiant). Dons get the best of the exchange and chase the Brits out the west opening. 2 Brits (Macedon and herc i think) pop out, the rest are sunk. Final Tally: Dons lose 3; Brits lose 18. /TIPHAT brits for bringing it. This was the most fun fight I've been in in a long time!! /SALUTE Dons for great focus fire, thundering broadsides and jugs at correct time, and great blocking.
