Connecting from a School's campus

I have been trying to use my school's much better connection to get into the game as my other connection is too slow and laggy. Everything works fine until I get to the server login screen. Nothing happens when I click login. I can see the severs, sever status and population but I can't login and No error messages pop up.

I've already tried searching through the forum and the knowledge base but all the similar posts solutions' lead to dead links.

Anyone else experienced this before ? Anyone know of a solution ?

This is almost certainly down to the main firewall the campus network sits behind. Very few large networks have unnecessary ports open. It sounds like the basic login traffic gets through and then you get blocked from connecting on the necessary ports.

I would guess the school wouldn't open those ports for you and as the KB is dead I can't tell you what ports are needed either.

I see. I hope someone knows a work-around. The lag makes the game unplayable.

I have other games that connect fine so there must be something that can be done.
