While stopping in to collect daily salary(s) from Ebenezer, I'd mention on /nation that players should be able to clone 'live' Captains to Testbed. Quickly replies came back that it was "broken". I'd watched this thread with anticipation that one challenge for new players is that builds must be identical for success. There certainly is other contingency's to resolve such as build slots and outstanding Auction House items.

Well, one way to see if indeed things were working was try myself.
It looks like I have a Level 9 captain available named Wolfgang on both "GameWideService" and "Unknown(26)" - my guess, one is a general archive server and the other a former server since merged (hence 2 entries). Eitherway - the attempt failed with an error.

I tried once again with my French NO André Zèbre inactive, but valid on the Roberts server. Again a failure (he has provisioning econ establish out of Tampa - not a problem for Testbed realignment).
