It used to be much worse. Until quite recently it was only the last price sold that was displayed, not the actual lowest list price of the items currently on sale.
However, I too would like to see more than just the cheapest price displayed, and I made a post some time ago showing how this might be done. I might even find it if I felt it might be acted upon. Neverthless, LoDx is right: - Bid - Fail - Bid, Accept Partial Order - Click Search - Bid, Accept Partial Order - Click Search ... rinse and repeat. Not too long, except you may find that what you thought was a cracking deal at port X is actually not really worth your while sailing there, and you would have been better buying the full quantity at a slightly higher price from port Y.
