Default Extremely rare means very valuable

If they are extremely rare, this means that they can be also very valuable.

Now, how to avoid that one may by mistake put them up for sale for a fraction of their worth when it is not that easy to figure what they are ?

I mean, if a player can figure it out only by confirmation window, ain't it a possibility that any player receiving any of these extremely rare outfittings will put them up for sale at an Action House without realizing their true value ?

Shouldn't there be an easier way to tell whether or not they are the rare kinds not losable upon sinking or not ?

How on earth is one supposed to spot one of these on the auction House ?

Need to actually read ALL thousands of them one by one "just in case" one may be the rare kind ?

There gotta be an easier way to spot them within listings in the Auction House.

But how ?

So far ALL listings I could see at Auction House either come with regular dark text OR green text.

No other colored text I could see.

I would expect that just like the green outfittings, the blue ones would show up with blue text. So they should be easy to spot in the auction house if anyone is selling them. And both the green and blue outfittings are not lost when the ship is sunk.

So it is the Blue AND the green lettering permanent outfittings which do NOT get lost upon sinking ? BOTH ? Not merely the blue ones ONLY ?

If so, why then the difference in text titles coloring ?

Why not having them all in green or in blue ? Why the need to have "some" show up in blue and "some others" show up in green ?

This is getting so confusing........

I'd wish someone could explain what the real deal about these outfittings really is....

Green and Blue items have special properties. These properties are listed on the item. Any special instructions regarding that item are listed in blue under the item's name in the item's info pop up when you hover over it.

I looked for a half hour to find links to give you regarding this stuff but I could not find any info anywhere on it. I searched these forums and searched Google but could not find a link to the downloadable manual to see if it is in there. I checked my Prima guide, and the word outfitting doesn't even exist anywhere in the 160 or so pages I went through.

Like you, I'd like to have an explanation of this stuff too, as it's kinda important info to know.

There are also "bound" items. These are outfittings that are tradable until they are used. When used, they become "bound" to you and are no longer tradable. The description will indicate this.
