Default Rebel Agent questions

Will he be working come the 22nd? Will I have to produce the items myself to give to him for contention points or can I purchase them off a AH?

My guess it yes, since they will activate port contention.

If I remember correctly they were not working during open beta. That is one reason I was wondering.

Yes, the agents will be working come the 22nd. They've disabled contention until then.

No, you do not have to make the items yourself. You can buy them from the AH, directly from other players, or get them in any other way possible.

Yes, the contention points will count towards your lotto chances for getting into a port battle. The contention points generated act exactly the same as contention generated from combat.

And that is going to make things interesting. Competition will bring down prices on the AH. Because of that, FT will be able to then go into enemy ports buy items off of their AH in order to reduce supply and raise the cost. They then take those items and give them to a rebel agent in a port of the enemy they bought it off of to gain contention.

Certainly worth doing. At the same time the FT is transferring money from his own nation's economy to the other nation's economy of course.

They were working to some extent in beta and from what I understand are somewhat working atm.
I havent logged into the game in 48 hours due to net restrictions on campus but from what I have been hearing on vent people are already dumping goods into the agents for their marks of victory.
Only thing that was not working during beta that may not work during live is the unrest supplies.
