Default Anyone have a Raise dead spell handy?

And yes I know that it will only restore a hero for a brief time who has died after a long and fulfilling life! Time for one more party!

I remember staying up all night before my 'cough' birthday because I knew a certain red box was waiting for me.

He creatively brought much fun to many. Gary, you'll be missed.

RIP Gary Gygax; played D&D way back in the 80's while in high school.

I was going to go into a long-winded explanation of how Mr. Gygax changed my life and earned me the best friend I've ever had.

That's not really necessary. Now you know he did, and that's what's important. I'm sure he's done the same for many of you, and others--all in our separate ways.

I miss him already.

ack, multiple threads... These are my memories posted in the other thread.

Imaginations like his didn't come around every day back then, but they do today, largely in part to what he and others like him have contributed to paving the way for the gaming world.

He'll be missed.

He pretty much invented the modern RPG, not only in pen and paper but inadvertently in video gaming as well. The world would be a far more boring place if it wasn't for this mans exceptional imagination and will to create something that everyone could enjoy and bring fond memories.

Definitely a loss to every gamer of every kind.

Why does everyone pick on AD&D 2nd Ed? That was the best rule set!
