Default Metrics Removed?

Anyone know if they removed the /addmetric command for live? Been trying to troubleshoot a lag problem and every time I edit the pirates config file and set sdc to true, when I run the launcher it just "patches" and reverts it back to false before I can start the game.

Don't edit the pirates.ini file -- as you saw, it gets checked and overwritten by the patcher.

Instead, create a new file called pirates_local.ini. Any settings you put in pirates_local.ini will then supercede instructions in the other file. The new file doesn't need to contain anything except the settings you want to change, so in this case just:

Code:
[Ui]
sdc=true

( Edit: PS - yes, /addmetric should still work once you get the new ini file set up )

Thanks for the reply. I had created a new file when I saw the pirates file getting patched, but it still wasn't working. Turned out notepad was trying to be smart and kept altering my file extensions which was causing issues!
