Default ATI 2600 pro AGP version troubles

Not sure if its the card or the driver which causes the problem, as ATI has no official support for agp versions anymore. Well, since i bought the card i have constantly game crashes within the first 10 minutes gameplay, especially when entering towns or combat. Any suggestions on this?

Edit: Gecube driver version 8.2

Try turning down your graphics settings. See also Answer 113 and/or search support.flyinglab.com for "crash." Hope that helps.

Also, I'd try installing the newest ATI Radeon drivers. I know they only list 2600 PCI-Express, but I doubt they'd make the driver only install on a PCI-Express card. Can't hurt to try, especially if you're using the one from GeCube.

Omega drivers FTW when you have a "generic" ATI card.

actually they have been really screwing their AGP uses, 0 support and no new compatible drivers, i switched from ATI to Nvidia cards because of this.
