Question game crashing pc out

im sorry if this question has been posted before but as i cant see it ill ask it

ive been playing this for over a month now and had no problems but for the last 2 days the game loads fine then after about 20 seconds of play it crashes my pc out and i have to do a reset, this is happening everytime, and i presume that as i have a nvidia 7950 gx2 1gb graphics card i cant blame that, ive ran all sorts of checks and scans from madonion etc and everything checks out fine but the game will just not play for more then 20 seconds now is there a reason for it?, and as my friend plays this on a 5yr old crap heap pc he has no problems at all so whats the beef ?,

when i say crash i mean a freezing screen with a repeat sound of d d d d d . with the only option of pressing the reset button

any help would be appreciated thanks ...

you card may not have an actual problem it might be looped? and overheating , my card was doing great and then the fan on it decided to arc to one side by aabout 25 degrees lol...so yeah i am waiting for a new graphics card because this one over heats quickly.

if its not your card over heating check your Ram, you might have one faulty stick if you use several which could cause it to be under the specs and crash it...if its not that then i would sugguest doing a complete file check or a fresh install and see if that helps it.

if it's not something with your pc chances are its something with one of the files.

You dont have to re-install to check out the game installation. Use the 'Check all Files' option on the launchpad.
