Is there a way to block a gold spammer?

Hi,

I have just started the game and had been in town for probably 20 minutes or so, just taking my time trying to learn everything i can.

In that time i have seen a constant gold seller which is a pain in the **** as he is constantly spamming the channels every 30 seconds or so.

I have played other games and all i would do would be petition and block that person.

I have never understood the need to waste money to buy ingame money and i always thought it was illegal myself as its a form of cheating?

Anyway as my first post here does anyone know how to block someone i can then hopefully get down to enjoying the game i have just bought.

For now go into the society tab and cut and paste his name in the /ignore list. Coming up in release 1.2 the process of reporting them will get easier. You will be able to right click their name in the chat box and select "Report Spam". Doing this will also automatically add them to your /ignore list.

what I do to ignore the gold sellers is to double click there name and replace the /tell command with /ignore

Thanks will give that a try, i can never understand why they spam so much just gives people more incentive to ban and block them.
