how is every getting all these low download times haha mine is at like 10 hours usual for each part

NP, you can download all at once but I don't recommend it, unless you are using a third party downloader (and not being tech savy I would assume no) also doing one at a time will let you have full download to that file from the server. Servers usually only allow so much bandwith (data) to each IP connected to it. IE you are an IP to the server, so only so much data will go threw.

Also with one at a time, u have a less chance of fubar (corrupted) files, Windows still sucks as a direct downloading feature but works if you don't push it to it's limits

I am doing the one at a time without my third party program to see if it will work for everyone as well. So up to you, but recommend one at a time.

I had to delete the /temp directory like I mentioned above, and for some reason (it shouldn't be but it did) deleting that and retrying it my DL jumped to just under 2 hours for the installer. Haven't tried the .cab files yet.

if you are attempting to get all 3 at once that will happen, wait till you get one then get another etc, one at a time and you should be fine. let me know. I will try to help.


Edit: yes, install in a new folder or del all you had previously, Windows keeps a cache(A memory) of a file you downloaded before and may have not finished downloading, sometimes it does sometimes it dosn't but windows is as stable as the fault line in cali

Again I Don't know if these files are corrupted or not till im done downloading, as soon as I am thou I will follow up, the only thing I can say is it downloads allot faster and seems to be going smooth so far. Your guess is as good as mine to the actual varity of these files. 10min to go and I should have an answer.

ok cool. Should I just abandon the original downloads i got from the/preorder? or what. cause i have both data3,4.cabs already done from the /preorder and the exe is at 68%

Yeah downloading all 3 at the same time so I can wake up to them all tomorrow morning... but Malais says you can't?

will letting the original exe. download while the ones xnode provided for us download slow down the entire process or will it not really make a difference. because if it wont ill just let the original exe finish while the ones we were provided with finish the same time and see which one works in the morning.
