Do at least all 4 factions have this missions or is there a balance issue?

The missions aren't the same for the different factions. Some are theoretically doable by anyone, but "gated" by your reputation with a given faction. Is there an imbalance? You'd have to have high level experience with each nation to really get a feel for it I think. So is there an imbalance issuer? Maybe. It's hard to compare though.

the big problem with those missions is that ppl should be on the open sea when making money and not in a town-instance. having a few daily missions, solo and grp style with some decent money is all fine but this nonsense of safe grinding is totally wrong is this game.

best money should be made while creating contention (well pve guys just leave at 5k if you are too scared :P) & in red zones and not in some lousy missions that are not meant to be done over and over again and that take away ppl from the open sea :P

a timer of an hour or 2 is needed on those grindable missions in my opinion.

Actually, this isn't going to work. Beefing up rewards just makes the missions even more attractive.

The reason the missions are so good is that it's a bunch of level 50 ships all in easy to chew bunches of 4, and wanting to fire at something that isn't you (Urgent Fury of Bridgetown).

Other ones have swarms of level 50 ships and you have company (some Santo Domingo mission, I wasn't paying attention, it was very, very late, or rather early, depending on one's point of view. )

Nowhere else do you get readily accessible swarms of 12-20+ level 50 ships like this, except Testbed right now, with the fleets sailing around. Those guys are going to get nailed a ton, and THAT is the answer, or at least an alternative. And the loot "should" be better, in theory.

As much as I hate doing those missions Ill quit if they removed with out a new money source or decrease in PVP costs.

I think the developers recognize the issue and would prefer players 'grinding' in PvP. However, the risk/reward is off right now.

After the balance this issue (lower costs to PvP for casual player and bigger rewards), I would expect these missions to be 'nerfed'. Until then they need it...

I think the wake up call a couple nights ago (i.e. good tactics trump 1st rates) was you do not need an 'arms race' to 1st rates to win. Tactics, coordination, teamwork, discipline, etc. can and does win battles.

If players want to grind to 1st rates that is their choice. It not necessary or a guaranteed path to victory. But those beauties looks great on the water and I can't wait to hear what a broadside sounds like (as long as it's not pointed at me!).
