Cannot access the rest of the forum?

Hello all,

If you have an active subscription but you cannot access the other areas of the forum, please do the following:

1. Log out of the site
2. Delete your cookies in your browser.
3. Go back to the site and log in.

**This is not for folks with key issues; this is for people who have consumed a key correctly and can DL/Access the game but not the forums**

If you have tried this and your permissions still don't kick in, respond here.

Let me add in a small peice of information that may help others in my previous cluster... It is the same thing, deleting cookies, only follow this step by step. Because deleting cookies the normal way had no effect for me. So here you go, I hope this helps people out that can't post here.

Just testing to see if I could post. I sent a message about this to support because soe says my account is active but i could not post. Now to try the rest of the forums

I'm still not able to log into the site/forums properly. I had to link a second account to make this post.

I assure you it is not my cookie cache. I have deleted them, deleted them manually, and tried logging in with IE7, Firefox and Opera.

On the site, up at the top it tells me Logged in as <blank>. Obviously it doesn't say "blank", there is just no name at all. When I hit the forum link all I see is the 'click to log in'. I click that, it takes me to the site to log in, click the link for the forums and it still says 'click to log in'... endless loop. I couldn't even log into the support site to file a report on the problem.

Oh, and the fact that I was able to link my other Station account to make that post also rules out anything cookie like. Seems to me the linkage to my 'real' account is b0rked.

I can't post to the rest of the forums either.

Logged out, deleted cookies, logged back in. Still didn't work. Tried both Mozilla and IE. Didn't make a difference.

I also cannot post on any forums including this one (I created this temporary account to do it). I am having the same problem as above with the blank name once logged in.

I appear to be logged in as blank on the PotBS home page but when I got to the forums I have the log in and register buttons as though I'm not logged in. When I click one of them it links me to the PotB main page and tells me that I'm already logged in.

I also noticed that the log out link on the forums doesn't actually log me out on this account (or the other). I am still listed on the top as logged in on the PotBS main page. I have to log out there to get it to take.

I have tried deleting cookies and such several times.

That's exactly the behavior I'm seeing. Also, my account that actually does have a subscription isn't even listed in the forum's Members List.
