Well, it cuts out at least a third of the server population to start off with.

Secondly, I suspect that quite a few people are taking more of a "not really going to miss that much" attitude towards the event.

Maurice Walker is dead to me. Give me the opportunity to give him a good thrashing, and I'll be there.

I wish the best of luck to our forces in catching this informant. I shall, sadly, be otherwise engaged.

You will always be able to farm more than the reward will be for any event. If you are out to get tons of stuff and millions of db, then events may not be for you. However, if you are looking for a great time, spent with other players and away from the usual missions available at any time, then you might want to check out our events. While rewards will usually vary, depending on the event and other things, there will always be nice people to meet and play with and a good time for anyone involved.

Rest assured that we have not forgotten our French and Spanish population, there will be a similar event for them soon.

Please also keep in mind that the main purpose of events is to provide a fun and entertaining alternative to the daily grind, not a quick or easy way to tons of loot

Crimson Blade was able to do the "Informant" event yesterday and had a great time! We had 9 of the 11 slots because we were able to sign-up as a group. I have to admit that the true objectives were not really clear, but once that was cleared up, we had a great battle with the brits!

I would like to take this opportunity to say that, although we opened up our Ventrillo to the other two people playing on our team, the "informant" declined which made communication difficult. The "Informant" said there was to much background noise at his location... may I suggest double muff headsets! The "Informant" was a very important part of this event and should have had the ability to join us on Ventrillo especially since some of our instructions were not followed and he was almost sunk twice.
