As always, HBMN has an open door policy. We have no level limits, no restrictions except that you be a British captain and play to have fun first, all else secondary. Our society has well over 160 active captains and over 50 alts. We enjoy all aspects of the game, we are deeply involved in the economy, PVP/PVE, etc. We run in house PVP training, weekly Port assaults, Society night every sunday night where our memberbase's average level usually increases 1-3 levels and we raise funds to pay for our war materials. If you want to be involved in every aspect of the game, this is the society for you.

We also currently field 2 1st rates, 2 Second rates, 12 3rd rates and dozens of 4th rates and heavy privateer/freetrader craft.

Nope, and we prefer hermes Sleeks and lineships. Right now our society fields 10 Ships of the Line, of those the only ones that will ever see a pirate port battle are the vals

In all seriousness, we have a full arsenal, we use every possible type of ship available, depending on the circumstances. Pirates bring out pirate Hercs, we bring out the griefers to split and some medium frigates to gang up and kill the split herc groups. People may not like our tactics but alot more of our enemies go to the bottom than we do. I am happy to say that I havent been in a lopsided 6 on 6 in months. (Capris vs a full group of pirate/heavy hercs).

The reason we use small ships to split is because we used to come into an area looking for a 6 on 6. The rats would be all in similar ships to us, they run to the nearest ports, we wait around for half an hour, they come out in pirate hercs and kick our @sses due to the enormous ship disparity. Now, that doesnt happen because we do not permit 6 on 6's that are lopsided...hence the hermes
