Played that game for 2 years, one year per side. Tanking was my game. Nothing like taking out 30 tanks in a tiger over 3 hours or taking out a panzer column in a Stuart at 50 yards in cover. Good times. Picked it up again, though playing this more. My name over there, balck.

One of the things I LOVE about WW2OL is no artificial level abilities. Your skill determines your success or failure in that game. zdom

The devs used to talk about this game working that way. Too bad they dropped the idea.

I remember thinking WWIIOL sounded cool, but I got distracted and forgot about it before it released. Might have to check back some time.

I considered it back when it came out, but I was caught up in a heavy raid guild in EQ at the time and most people told me it wasn't that great. Kind of wish I hadn't of listened to them, now, since I'm so burnt out on fantasy MMOs that I won't touch AoC with a 10 foot pole. Maybe I'll check it out now.

this is a valid complaint. I got burnt out on MMO's back when they were text based, so I haven't been able to enjoy any of the graphics based ones...
