Great Job everyone, it was a great battle. Thank you to Spain for bringing their heavy team. The French brought their A game.

24 on both sides. 4 2nds on Spanish, 1 2nd from France.

24 Spanish losses including four 2nd rates. Tons of Heavy Hercs.

French lost 2. One was an Alex. Not sure of the other.

I felt bad for being the only non-50 at Jaq. I hope I redeemed myself this battle. Definitely the best I've had.

You were not the only sub 50 ship in the French fleet...and you did great! Hats off to our amazing leadership.

Hey, Kofi, don't feel bad, just level up quick, and then when you get to 50 you not only be a lvl 50 NO in a heavy ship, you'll have experience and know what you are doing.


The other ship we lost was Rejean Lemay's Hercules (regular). But he went down fighting and brought a spanish 4th rate down with him. He also bought some time for the rest of us skirmishers, some of whom were able to go get on the nose of a second rate that was headed upwind, among a bunch of other ships we got going upwind in that channel.

Nothing against the French win there, good trap worked well. Spain made basically a single mistake that cost us the battle which I hope doesn't happen again.

I often find that port battle victory revolves around one or two choices, and which team can exploit the choices of their enemies best. This was a very fun battle, I look forward to more face-offs with the Spanish in the future.
