I was so disappointed in the drop in Spanish numbers, I truly thought they would be the victorious side last round, I hope they have an influx of players soon.

There is one problem for me.. Frustrating population imbalance. Losing all the time and what worse seeing that there is absolutely no hope to change situation in the future will force many to quit. Personally playing on the Spanish side gaved me more stress and depression then fun. (it seems that if I would join brits it would be a different story now) I joined in early march so I was not a witness of Spanish power but usually the witness of losing ,defeats and insane power of the brits. I`m not quiting for now nor my small society but eveyone`s have his limits.(I`m afraid that once my society members will reach lvl 50 they will be just meat cannon for brits in PB or alternatively they can retreat all the time ,they wont stay for long under such circumstances but for now they are full of optimizm and battle spirit).
Hope there is something which can be done to change this sad situation.

Unhappy

I really agree with the poster that mentioned forming small pvp groups and going out to practice. Shame you guys are being hit by the language/player barrier tho :<

the pirates seemed to be understanding if they come and gank while a port is being flipped then there will be no red zone......mebbe they just need a little reminder about this fact. Failing that theres more than one way to fight a pirate

Edit: 9hrs on this thread and no trolling by keline Oo......

To be fair the attempted flip at Biloxi last night failed because of a Tri-Nation Defence force of which France was by far the junior player. We had one French group there, but we were in no state to take on any of your heavy groups - too many cutters, no enough group members. However we didn't have to worry as two pirate groups effectively controlled the red zone. In the end you had 3 lots of nationals sitting on the edge, none willing to enter first and be hit by pirates. It suited us overall but is perhaps the dullest way to defend a port!

Hopefully next time we'll be able to field a nice heavy group for the spanish to break their teeth on instead.

Well, no matter what's done, one faction has to be the loser.

If the people on the losing faction quit the game because of that, then games like these have no chance in hell.

I'm a proud Spaniard, and I'll stick to my faction to the end, even if that does mean a map loss.

People say it's sad the Spanish can't flip a port, it's worth bearing in mind that as well as putting Biloxi in the red we also repelled a full-on British attack on Sisal. The server history tends not to remember the battles that are prevented from happening, but the Spanish made a big economic defence of Sisal and the British attack was one of the biggest I've seen in a while.

Meanwhile the problem with pirates horning in on every new zone would be solved by more zones and with the 1.4 pirate nerfs. Right now pirates are unplayable opponents, you can't close the range on a Pirate Herc, you can't catch them if you hold them at arms length, last night for instance my group engaged two pirate groups, chased them both off, sank just one Minerva, because the Pirate Herc, indeed Herc Rates in general are too hard to kill off.

You have to take into account that probably Biloxi is not an "easy" target, regardless of the players present in the circle, due to its low level npc. If you want to flip a port, try one with high-level npc
