For the same reason you join peoples battles on the open sea to stop the 6th group member from joining and the same reason why you do all you can to disrupt the battle line in a port battle.

I really was surprised to see that cush was around to screw up yet another port battle. I'm interested in what FLS's reason was for not punting him after the first incident.
