Default Problem Launching the game.. Need help, please

****FIXED****

Alrigth this is very interesting.. I've had the game installed for a few days now. I was playing last night and when I was sailing on the open water the screen goes weird. What I mean by this is (please bare with how I describe this..) the screen looked like it turned into a windows internet browser page. It had the minimize / maxamize symbol at the top I could see the start menu at the bottom etc. Along with this my ship disappeared but you could still see the flags and crew on it. Needless to say I found this alarming, I though maybe I pushed a button or something.. I exited out of the game and rebooted my comp, thinking this would fix the problem. However now when I try to run the game I'm having some problems. It will bring me to the screen where I put in my station user name / password, then I click "Play." Once I click play it acts like it is going to run the game but then it comes up with an error report. It says the following.. "Pirates of the Burning Sea has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." So I proceeded to click and see what the error report contains and here is what is says...

Error Signature-
AppName: potbs.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
AppVer: 1.4.36.0
Offset: 00000000
ModName: Uknown

Reporting details-
This error report includes: information regaring the condition of Pirates of the Burning Sea when the problem occurred, the operating system version and computer hardware in use; your Digital Product ID, which could be used to identify your license; and the Internet Protocol IP address of your computer.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this??

P.S. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and I have the EXACT same problem...

******EDIT******

Alright so I was looking on the forums on about previous issues and found this.. http://support.flyinglab.com/cgi-bin...i=&p_topview=1

I did the following that it suggested.. " Check the color quality setting. (Right-click on your Windows desktop -> choose Properties -> select the Settings tab.) It should be set to 32-bit. Anything less will cause problems".

After doing this I am now able to open up the game to the the area where I select my avatar and login. However the thing that is still weird is theg ame still has the blue bar accross the top as if it were an internet broweser and in the top right corner I can minimize and maxamize it along with the big red X for closing it. Also at the bottom I still have the start menu along with any other program I have minized. I've never had this in a game before. I'm starting to think I pressed a button or something last night when I was playing the game which did this. Anyone know how I get the game to be the entire screen w/o the stupid windows start button at the bottom, etc etc??
