Default Puddle jumping still works

just attacked NPC under both adhoc invis and prep ship in a full PVP zone.

I wonder why FLS would put this into the patch notes out of the blue when it's not even in the game.

Preparing ship only prevents you from attacking other players. You cannot engage a NPC ship in adhoc invisibility. Your adhoc invisibility time is now less than it used to be, 65 seconds if you don't move. Moving some distance will remove the effect sooner than the 65 seconds and then you can attack an NPC (though you will now be visible).

This effect IS working.

Well restricting it to adhoc invisibility is a bit pointless then because you can attack the NPC the very moment your Adhoc invis drops. Puddle jumping still works

Prepare ship must prevent attacking NPC.

Default Puddle Jumping is now Dangerous (besides Fun)

Ahoy!

The big difference is that you used to be able to "pj" without ever becoming visible.

Now you can only get one jump for free, and then must become visible again.
I like this change as it requires more skill and makes Stealth more valuable.

Also, NPC Warships are much more aggressive now, and this greatly increases the danger of getting pulled down into an instance that Nats can reinforce.

And I love it mostly because its Fun! Yar!

This is not true. I've just watched a lvl 34 Brit ad-hoc from Bridgetown to Oranjstaadt without ever becoming visible. Battlemarker to battlemarker; clean as a whistle. It's broken. Please, please fix it.

Did it occur to you people put auto-attack on and ghost the NPC so it instances as soon as the invis wears off? Of course it must have. Did it...?

I would like to see another possibility, maybe even leading to more interesting situations. Allow more than two nations to enter a battle instance. Surely this has been discussed before. Implementation problems?

Allowing multiple nations into the instance? Would that allow 6 per side or would it still be restricted to 6v6? If it allows 6 per side, then you just open up the possibility of 12v6 and 12v1 ganks. I don't think that is the road to travel.

So, I hope it would it would still remain a 6v6 (or 6v3v3) battle.

There is no red zone around oranjestadt on rackham?
Did you see him adhop in the full pvp zone around bridgetown? Because the restriction is only in full PVP zones

Erm, interesting argument. I haven't thought of a 12v1 indeed, silly me. Despite having four different nation, I felt the possibilities of allying against a stronger opponent are quite limited, especially in the important port battles but probably it simply won't work.

From Bridgetown to the edge of the zone around Roseau(?), marker to marker.
