-=The Caribbean Trader=-
Newsflash! Welcome to the Monarch Indiaman! Greetings all aspiring Freetraders. For those of you who wish to help keep the waters clear of enemy nationals and those filthy pirates, Europe has just sent us designs on how to modify the Mignone Indiaman intoa to be feared presence on the ocean! We analyzed the schematics and have been informed of the following – Increased Speed (15.5) As well as increased Running (0.9) 5% Accuracy Bonus 23 Target Tracking 8x13lbs 30x16lbs 12.5% reload bonus Amour, structure and sails are 35% stronger. So what does all this mean? Well it means that we have a long-range ‘sniper’ ship at our disposal, a ship that can at long range pack a punch., with the accuracy bonus and target tracking, this makes the Monarch a viable ship to take on the smaller hard to hit ships that are oh so frequent currently on the Open Sea. And of course all the added Freetrader benefits, such as a huge hull (900), and Merchant Spotters! Attached is the schematic for your own viewing pleasure. We hope to see more Freetraders in the Open Sea dealing with the increased piracy around our ports, and more enemy nationals and pirates running for safe harbours. -Company Office |

Ships of this type will become the next tiggermcfail groups when they get into pirate hands.
I recommend dropping the speed and/or turn accel/decel and/or turn rate more. Edit: I like the concept but with these stats you might want to be careful. |

Compared to her brother the Mignone Privateer Indiaman the Monarch is faster, has more armor and a lot more sails, her off modifiers are +5 (compared to +0). Damage wise the Privateer Mignone has an advantage at the shorter distances up to 500y (max rage of the 8lbs), and at the small range between 585 (max range of Monarchs 13lbs) and 600y (maxrage of the privateers 14lbs).
Conclusion: In a 1vs1 situation the Monarch, commanded by a FT will always be able to hold distance (faster, speed skills). The better armor (and the better repair abilities) gives her also the better survivability. So if the FT holds distance between 500 and 585 y he will over time always win, and also at smaller distances the Privateer in his Mignone will have a really hard day against this ship. --> I would suggest to reduce Monarchs reload buff a bit, so that the dps ratio between the two ships goes more in direction of the privateer indiaman. Then we will have more speed + armor vs better damage at most / all distances and the battle would be open (and those two ships imo good balanced between each other). |

Oh please not another uber Freetrader ship!
First was Courleonne which was buffed to the hilt. Then it was the Mont Blank which out DPS a 3rd rate. with 25% reload! Then it was uber freetrader skill tree which gives them god like repairs, excellent spike damage great speed AND excellent defence. Then it was SUper Courleonne and now this beast aswell! Come on FLS get a grip pls
