Talk Like a Pirate Day:
As every good freebooter knows September 19 is Talk Like a Pirate Day. To celebrate we have designed some new missions. Even better, you’ll be able to take them from Cap'n Slappy and Ol' Chumbucket, the founders of Talk Like a Pirate Day! These rum-swillin’ salts are taking their rightful place in the Burning Sea and they’ve got a thing or two to teach you about piracy.

This is just one of the many holiday plans we've got up our sleeves. Longtime Pirates of the Burning Sea fans will note that our game is the official TLAPD video game, so celebrating this event in game was a no-brainer.

The Mission Designer responsible for these missions spent a lot of time putting together some fun content for you, and the unique mission reward is even more fun. I think you are going to enjoy it!

sounds like fun.
Can you make it clear that it is for a limited time only, and get rid of it afterwards?
We still have toastmistresses standing about in the capital cities, even though the items are not available.
I like themed events fine, and even like the idea of giving players something to log on at a given holiday/time for, I just would like to get it out of the way afterwards.
[maybe swap the redemption items to one of the shops or scavenge-fences after the event so those that have not logged on since the event can still redeem things]
