Aww, you didn't miss CdA? We got zerged and lost all morale. Will be a while before any of our members brave the red again, if at all.

Yeah sucks to be the first guys to get gypped by a cheap tactic. The future of organised group PvP is to never attack anybody, ever. Which to me seems a bit crap.

We are trying to decide between adapting or ragequitting. The problem with adapting is the best way to adapt is to 'LOLHAVEMOREPEOPLE', and the other option is to speedboat, neither of which require skill and thus don't particularly appeal to us. Hopefully warhammer will require skill.

Aww, you kept them after the transfer?

I lost all sails with the transfer, but still have a Lys-au-Crane flag.

Anyway, back to complaining about the new PvP system!

At the Port-de-Paix zone, we also got someone ganked 5 vs 1 by pirates. Yay, I thought, a chance to repay the 6 vs 9 with a 9 vs 6! I called out for Spaniards to come help, and we moved towards the battle, only to be met by a pirate force sitting on top of it. We still tried to reach the instance, but I got intercepted by a lance who just turned around and ran. One of us did atually reach the battle, but the rest were chased away by pirates. The result? 2 Spanish sunk in a gank, no pirate losses.

Zerg FTW!!

Warhammer will require skill in the same way wheelchair basketball does. No matter how good at it you are it'll still be a game designed for cripples.

I disagree, Hovis.

Sure, people were timing their entries to the battles, but because everyone was doing it, it balanced out fairly well. I didn't see a single 9v6 tonight, and I can only assume this is because people didn't put themselves in that potential position.

People were attacking, but they were using their brains first.

What I saw was a glorious free-for-all. Purple dots everywhere, and the pirates themselves looked just like what they are, a plague of rats in the red zone

And Roberto, of course I did. They're a nice design too

Clearly you fail at LOLHAVEMOARPEOPLE. Adapt.

Seriously though it's a suckfest. The only answer is to not initiate attacks, but the problem with this is that this means the pirates can take the wind gauge and still get you in a six on six if they like, or not, if they don't fancy it. Should you then try to force the issue, bang, six on nine.

Ok, then riddle me this. You take a group of 6 into the zone, and see the predictable 15 pirates and michael ware's arcadia. How can you attack anybody without either:
A) Leaving some guys out on the OS to be ganked in a 6vs4
B) Getting 6vs9-ed
C) Having 4 guys trapped on the edge of the zone watching a 2vs6?
