Thesis: We have a great inbalance regarding nations and primetimes. This kills the game...
Economy: We have different nations on different servers leading. The underdogs cannot handle it because of the crushing nations. But, without the right national economic background, you cannot handle any crushing nations. This is a classical I-win-situation. Playing Times: ...are the best arguments against a server merger. But - Roberts is already US-dominated and Antigua is already Euro-dominated. /discuss (and no flames)

Yeah, I'd prefer a single server at this point. Do away with the cross teaming policy (which has now extended to room mates, Jebus). Remove the 1 nation/server rule. Put a timer in for swapping between nations (1-24 hours).
Oh and beef up the hardware. p.s. As long as we are wishing. A full os pvp server with level limited engagement rules, except for the red circle mechanic which will remain the same with unrestricted pvp. |

If you have enough people on a server port battle timing will NOT be a problem, no matter what time the port is flipped you will almost always have 24 ready to attend.
The only bad thing I can think of is it would increase the PB waitlist a ton, requiring a lot more contention grinding or just less port battles.

As far as I know Antigua is the same... PotbS lacks the player to play it as intended to.

It does sound like Rackham and Roberts are going to die eventually some maybe they should be merged. Maintaining 3 servers - Antigua (US & EU - 24 hour server), BB, and Defiant (AUS & PST)- should result in nice, stable pops that cover most of the timezones (as long as Defiant continues to slowly grow).

as an australian on Antigua who is on at what is 3am for the Yanks i can say that even at those time there are people trolling thru the red zones.
Antigua Rat population has hit what is probs ideal...IF the other nations had the same. I wouldnt like to see Nations with anymore players than we have atm as Rats, it would become to crowded, and getting into a PB would be hit or miss, no matter how much contention you had.

i took my Trinity to its first Antig PB today, it survived and we won.......but we lost the next PB but i wasnt there, coincidence...i think not. Lost my MB to an alpha strike in a 6v6 though. Antigua is where its at for me considering i play most of the time during the day.
I might come back to Defiant in the new year though, got a course starting that will take a lot of my daytime playing away.
