I wouldn't if my build was just for 1 vs 1. It has an use there, but I'd say there are much better skills than jug for soloing.

however for groups jugular is bassic. Focused fire won't work half as good without someone nerfing the resists of the target ship.

As I go out both in groups and solo, and I am too damned lazy to respec each time I change activity (:P), I just go with the one I posted. For what I've seen seems the most flexible one to do both effectively.
