There has been a decided push to get the eco players to quit the game since game starteded
first 1 day till battle now 2..For MORE red then now we have 5 days of red after a pb then u have the 40% tax rate for being conquered. being an eco player i just a huge pain in the butt and frankly getting to be so not worth it haul haul haul red red red taxes taxes taxes i just cant take it anymore then if your on the losing nation map after map u just start to think its hopeless and quit. |

any real carebear must make a thread at some point saying "there is to much pvp, I quit."

That said, Pirates does not really work that well as a no risk game . . . you can play it low risk (avoiding alot of PvP and most red zones), but expecting to be able to avoid it all the time is unrealistic based on how this game is built.

Answer 1) MoV Farm needs more livestock.
Answer 2) This should really be an incentive for a nation to get it's act together in RvR. Also, perhaps underdog bonuses should equate less to point advantages toward map wins, and more into some sort of econ benefit? Reduction in tax rates for conquered ports on the next map, for example? |

Isn't working around high taxes, smuggling goods through the red, and avoiding pirates supposed to be a big part of econ?
I don't really see a problem with it, nothing should be entirely risk-free.

They should give FT's in a hauler some sort of 1v1 only flag. I'd love to haul through the red and have a battle with a single pirate in a ship that could catch me in like a San Mateo Heavy or a .. well, whatever the hell other haulers are out there with some guns hehe. Now as a hauler its either avoid/outrun pvp altogether or sink. Not much fun. No incentive. Also, it would make the San Mateo Heavy stop crying ![]() |

Who is catching you in a San Mateo trader with 9 speed mods?
race builts, runners, lightweight guns. I use an engi 5, double threaded 5, and for OS speed prince henry's compass, though taxmans will do for a full battle. When you are about to get hit, give the slip. Misdirection if ur surrounded, and you need wind. You still get hit, immediately pop an expert captain and prov allies manuever. Pop rum rations, then dump guns. If you have battle prep for turning, use that as well. that's near 70% in turning and accel right there. Once you hit best point, pop before the wind. Then hit sonia's. By this time your expert sailmaster may be up. Then LOL at everyone as you are doing 42 knots or higher. |
