The bug that won't die

Every once in a while it pops up again:

All flags for hotbuttons on zoning from port to port and crash if you zone again. yes the old work-around of camping out and back in still works but it's still annoying as hell.

If there is an actual bug and not a technical problem, the best way to report it is through the support section.

To actually file a bug, we need a fair amount of very specific information, and our support team knows far more about the process of testing and bug reporting than I do (hence why I recommend talking to them directly, so they can ask for the appropriate information).

What Remus is saying here is that this is a very long term bug known by just bout everybody with moar than 3 months of experience.. and that we're alarmed that it seems unknown to FLS staff...

Although I haven't personally seen it in a very long time.

You can also go into the OS via the coxswain and back again to clear it, that might be faster than logging~ Just don't do that in teh red~

U really should actually try playing the game!!! or just be quiet, as u obviously have never played the game if u did you would know what the orginal poster is referring to.

Like the OP said, skills on hotbars are replaced by sailing flags. Has happened to me (and is still happening) every couple of weeks for a long time now. Kerry gave the workaround but alot of noobs might not know about that and would just be nice to get it finally fixed.

In situations where a bug appears to disappear for a while and then reappear, often they are two separate bugs with similar behavior but different causes and different reproduction steps. Basically, reproduction steps are an essential part of fixing bugs.

Also, we certainly appreciate any help players give us by reporting bugs. Keep up the good work!

A friend of mine is convinced this is a secret message placed into the game deliberately by the devs, but then he also believes there is a Jewish conspiracy to take over the world and that God talks to him directly.

Can FLS confirm any of the above points to be true?
