The shame of it is FLS has been encouraged by numerous players to remove all insurance on bigger boats leaving only the insurance on cheaper "regular" boats and low end bundle boats. Which IMO would make the big boats "special" (at least in PvP situations) as you suggest.

For some reason they've never even really seriously attempted that. I can understand doing what they are doing after having made at least one or two reasonable attempts at adjusting thier prevalence through other means. But this approach, like many other FLS decisions kinda make me scratch my head.

and no pico, ice is not related to me. however we were part of the same society, shared the same goals and for the most part have a near identical view on what we enjoy in computer games.
