Default Selling Labour

I think it would be fun for eco minded people to be able to buy labour hours from the AH (or for closed loop soc's to collect them from members, reducing the need for 20 forges)
You would need a recruitment office, the recipe would require no doubloons, 1 beef and 1 sack of beans and would cost 1 Hour/ 2 hours/ 5 hours/ 12 hours/ 24 hours. It would produce a 'secure item' called Workforce or Day Labourer. Using the item would give you a menu to select on which building you want to add the labour. (stored labour still can't exceed 3 days)

If you don't care about eco, build 10 offices in the main eco port and sell your labour. If you have a nice production thing going on but you have a couple of lots collecting dust because you don't know what to do with it, Create some Labour for someone who needs/wants it.

Are you a shipwright wanting to build big ships and your forge ran out of juice, for a price you can acquire fresh men to knit them ingots.

This would make the unused labour hours (Lots) useful and give people who never sell their logs, oak and don't care/want nothing to do with eco things a chance to differentiate their production easier, making the economy work for them too.
Requiring no doubloons will make the market decide on the price of labour (Tricky situation, I know) to which everything else can balance itself.

Love it. Just like in real life, some people are enterpreneurs and make the decisions, some people are employees and just sell their labour.

not more than the current system,
that's why they don't cost doubloons to make, else you would 'buy' the persons, now you just function as a 'temp job agency', making the connection between employer and employee. Getting your 'fee' is the money you get for putting them on the AH.

Slavery would enable you to just produce a boatload of stuffs without minding labour hours and costs apart from materials.

it wasnt a criticism, I just found your idea a smart inoffensive way to simulate the slavery that happened in that period.

So in general sense, Introduce Slave Trade into POTBS?

Though this would make economical production/mining Infinate, why not?

Additionally it would give me more uses instead of just rowing for these men who I captured......
