Need Nat arcadia Refit

i think if your going to have a game where the rats sail around in red devils that maybe its time for the nats to recive their own Arcadia MC refit

while i dont give a crap who sails what several people do. and I think the arcadia and red devil in a way wreck the game and cause population drop...1sts and 2nds did much less damage to population that the red devil has and will.

because the map is so small you have Rats in a boat that avoids all ganks yet can win 1v1 after 1v1 after 1v1 with virtualy no losses. because its perfectly situated to runaway from any engagement it cant win..

I think its time for FLS to look at reducing the crew on the xbec class boats by 30% and reducing their sails by 25% and armor by 15%. the balance with these boats is already there thru its upwind speed.

As soon as all the other lineships get their speed knocked down to at least 16, sure.

There are more important balance issues than boats whose only real ability is to rageboard.

its capable of beating any boat out there in a 1v1 if its fit right, and has no risk attached as it can outrun pretty any lvl 50 boat out there on 34% sails.

the boat itself is stupid and encourage risk free play and ganking. the sooner its gone, the better imo

Let's see this magical outfitting that will allow you to win every 1 v 1, then.

In 1 v 1s, I'd put my money on a vengeance over a red devil any day. The veng has insane dps (on par with a pirate herc) excellent turning, and amazing polars, and a privateer is the only one using it against a CT, meaning it's nearly impossible to demast.

And a group of Macedons will annihilate pretty much every other OS group out there because they have superior ranged dps and the speed and maneuverability to easily keep range.

My suggestion to the OP is you stop posting bad ideas. Like the previous guy said. A privvy with a Vengence fit correctly can catch an Arcadia upwind unless that Arcadia constantly turns through the red and to escape. Not to mention the Vengence has far more guns than a red devil.

If the Red Devil was nerfed at all nobody would sail it. It's supposed to be an upgrade of the Arcadia. If the Arcadia can sail nearly as well and has the same guns than it would be a pointless refit.

Tell you what. Give the Red Devil the Vengence's guns and you can change the Polar's back to 90 degrees and nerf 10% of the crew. Deal?

The vengy has to fit to do that, and fit considerably.

The red devil doesn't need to fit that much to still get away at 30, even against a speed fitted vengy, even while losing most of their sails.

It's still broken.

Making it a 90 ship isn't a huge nerf, it's still an amazing 1 v 1 boat/rageboarder.

he must defently don't know there upwind speeds, 4.8 for the Veng and 7.34 for the RD. Yah they realy can catch each other upwind there buddy, maybe if the veng fits all mods to go up wind. Even if you add class bonues, tack up wind, Figurehead pig, engin structure, speed fitted it's still below the base upwind speed of the RD.

Directly upwind, yes. But no one sails directly upwind. Check close-haul and they're a little more in line.

And you don't have to have 100% of your enemies' speed to stay with someone, especially if you have bow cannons like the vengeance does.
