Are you serious??
Now how are we supposed to get these? Ive sunk how many ships and PVP, and only gotten one, from a boarding action thats EXTREMELY rare for an organized group (considering we fight line tactics). So please enlighten us..... Where are we to get MOVs now? |

Dear FLS-
Since you have removed MoVs from the Rebel Agents and Garrison Commanders altogether, could you at least make the drop rate from ships sunk in PvP more reasonable. I don't even mean reliable; I would be quite happy with a 1:3 drop ratio, though given the ease of running away, a 1:2 ratio would seem more worthwhile. As things stand now, boarding is the only reliable method of gaining MoVs, and as AvCom is not exactly the most polished part of your game, I'm sure many would agree that is just... silly. Also, it is now plausible that no one should ever get MoVs, as you do not get them if a person abandons ship (to my knowledge at least), and the recent trend is to abandon ship if you're on the verge of sinking, to deny your opponent anything. Another thing to consider is that it would be nice to get MoVs from sinking ships in Port Battles. We go through all that work and risk our gear, and nothing is gained from the combat itself save the defense or capture of a port- in this, the apex of your game's PvP, no MoVs are awarded. That is also... silly. I had, I am guessing now erroneously, assumed that MoVs were not a PvP only reward, but rather an item that could be gathered a variety of methods, and that getting them in PvP was a circumstantial bonus to successful PvP. Now I see the light, and now understand that you want them to not only be ultra rare, but also only for those who ultra PvP. Fair enough. Regards- Captain Caldes de Monbui

I do not think that increasing PvP drop rate is the only answer (although this should have been done before.) I was always under the impression that MoVs were obtainable through PvE missions for those that do not want to take part in PvP. That way we do not have a separate class of un-attainable equipment for PvP players only, like we do in every other game in the sense of raid gear.
You need to have a PvE way to obtain MoVs or access to the rewards they bring. |

This change is a terrible blow to solo pvp'ers as well.
No, I don't currently belong to a huge society, I like to do my part by myself. As it was, your drop system for MoV meant there was little chance I'd ever get refits; Except that I could pvp with unrest supplies. These are hideously expensive however, especially if you make them yourself. In the end, that should have balanced them out. yes you could get them, but you paid through the nose for them. With this change, If I want to sail a refit, get better modification, et cetera, I must join a large society, I must always pvp in groups and then maybe next January, I'll have enough marks to get some more durability on my Falcon. Bad change. |

Kills the Naval Officer class.
The ONE big benefit they had was superior ships... which they will now NEVER get. No WAY you can get 40 Marks of victory below 29th level in PVP. There is a NO quest which gives you 35.... but those last 5 will not be possible because of the low drop rate. Even if you get the 40 needed for your upgrade to Falcon... you know have TWO Endurance on that ship to get the 60 needed for your 38 level upgrade???? Please can someone explain how this does not totaly NERF the Naval Officer class? |

Totally agree with Romeo13.
There needs to be a possibility to get MOVs through PvE, otherwise only hardcore PvP societies will ever be able to get enough of them. As I already claimed somewhere else: Keep a MOV as reward for patrolling missions (once a day per port). Otherwise many players - mostly NOs - will be VERY disappointed... |

I am fairly surprised that there has been no comment at all about this change from FLS. Neither before it occurred or after.
If the desire is to move the refit system back to refit certificates being crafted instead of only gained via MOV's, then that's fine ... or at least a whole 'nother thing to discuss and think about. In any event, some sort of disclosure and/or communication would be nice.

game hasnt even been out that long, and the only things fls has done is to take out missions, make the missions harder, kill performance, and nerf everything else....
you ever notice the only posts you see from fls all say "were working on it" but no posts ever say anything has been fixed?
