Not by choice. After a week of being stuck in support tickets with FLS, trying to resolve the Physx library missing error, they are attempting to offload me onto every other company, which would offer even less support for the game, since they use outdated versions of the software.

I guess I don't have any choice but to step away, barring any miraculous changes in the support replies, until FLS decides to upgrade their software to the current times.

i hate to start with the obvious but have you tried completely uninstalling the game, then physx, then clearing the related dll files and then reinstalling again?

Its tedious but should work.

You should be able to get a list of physx dlls via google or by looking through the uninstaller index created when you installed.

I would be willing to bet support didnt take you down that path :-)

i dont know your exact problem, but i run a very outdated graphics card. windows 7 rates it a 4, and i can play this game with physX. i at one time ad a issue with a driver update with my graphics card.

the update and physX was incompatable so i ether had to roll back the driver or get a better or more decent graphix card.


same thing is happening in rift beta with graphic card updates with newer cards. there causing more issues than they are fixing.

but with out understanding your issue i really dont know.

Uninstalling and reinstalling should fix the issue.

Updating your video card drivers might if that does not do it.

As for uninstalling and reinstalling, yes I already tried that. That was the Fishking's original idea. Sadly, the offered Physx download on their website isn't even the required version necessary to play the game. I have Physx, Monday Night Combat requires it to run. They just require a very -specific- outdated version of Physx to play PotBS.

You do need to get in fixed though incase POTBS looks fun.
