Post Adjustments to Pirate Ships, V.2...

Because Sunleader Derailed my last thread, here is my Suggestion reposted.

For the Moment Several Pirate Refits are Rather Imbalanced, some Over Powered While others go along almost unused, in general sense, the Purpose of this Thread is to Balance them Properly against their National Equivalents.

Ships for Tuning:

Beam Reach: 97.5% ---> 92.5%
Close Haul: 77% ---> 80%

Defense: 24 ---> 21


Acceleration: 1.13 ---> 1.20


Reload Bonus: 15%---> 17.5%

Maximum Speed: 16.30 ---> 16.10

Acceleration: 0.98 ---> 1.02

Running: 90% ---> 95%
Beam Reach: 90% ---> 85%
Close Haul: 80% ---> 82.5%

Broadside DR: 7 ---> 10
Bow DR: 3 ---> 7

Reload Bonus: 12.5% ---> 17.5%

Running: 85% ---> 90%

Close Haul: 65% ---> 70%

Why on earth would the Neptune's disgrace get buffed handling and speed? It's a refit but it still doesn't warrant those changes.

The Pirate Herc already out-guns counterparts in broadsides, I don't know about the 15>17.5 reload.

Abaddons will needs something doing with it, as I have already said lately it's a ship that currently has no real purpose though i'm not sure those changes will give it one.

Giving the bloody dagger a 17.5% reload again seems crazy, especially when you're giving it even better handling.

We stop buffing OP Rats and work on the Privateer.

Because it must be Balanced against the Discovery/Galliant, which Already signifigently outclass it.

The Reload Bonus is just a slight improvement to Benefit it against Broadside-Broadside Combat with Opponents. To that, I believe the Defense Trade is more then decent for a minor buff.

My changes make it a Slightly Heavier Pirate Hercules with a Trade Off for Polars, Maneuverability to Superior Speed, Armor/Structure. A Heavy Brawler in sense.

Against the Monarch, and Intrepid which both have a +20% Reload Bonus, then the Mercy/Achilles which have an Epic Spike, Reload, and Accuracy, it should be more than balanced.

Half these changes just seem random. Most of the others seem stupid.

The Red Devil polars/mass change (if the mass change is possible?) would make more sense than what FLS actually did to it, however.

Let a useless thread die, really. It shouldn't be in the suggestions-forums either. Rather put it in Ships, Ship combat, & Ship Skills. Here we vote on the OP suggestions, while that forum is more open to debate and constructive discussions around the topic.

Only thing I agree on btw is the ship mass for the RD and its polar-changes, but with the current nerf.

You neither L2P or get better in PvP by studying the skillsets. As you may not find your personal preference in a playstyle if you only go for the "OP-Skills" of the class instead of using those that makes you the most comfortable playing, this method could actually gimp you.
