Unable to connect to Login Server FIX

I use IE8 and Firefox and I am having trouble getting Launchpad to connect. I am getting an error 126 message.

ok its been posted a loong time on games like this where people have issues connecting
to over sea servers ok vista and windows 7 is not as compatable to those servers as some those companies still use crappy servers instead of updating there hardware for new windows tech.

Solution - right click your Burning sea's launcher on the desktop
hit properties on the bottom of the list then simply hit the compatability tab and check the box in compatability mode so u can change the run format,
now select run in Windows XP-service pack 2.
(most usa and EU game servers run on Service pack 2 due to its flexability in modern tech)

Walla now you can launch as normal and get past the char creation stage.
Looking forward to seeing the happy faces on the sea's.

Have done all these things. Still unable to connect. Was able to connect yesterday. I don't understand!

i was having problems connecting to thegame for about an hour and then it has just stopped and went away... turns out many people were having the same problem. Evidently Sony was messing around with the system. It was not an FLS issue, or browser issue, or internet provider issue either.
anyways i dont know if this was helpful or not but i thought id throw it out there.

FFS! Did everything everyone has said, does nothing, been UNABLE TO CONNECT TO LOGIN SERVER for a few DAYS now, win 7 64bit firefox, 50 mb conection

DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY KNOW A FRIGGEN SOLUTION OR IS THIS JUST ****?


EDIT: as a firefox user i never use IE, but is on my comp anyways, opened IE, went to the security and UNCHECK tht encrpted pages file thing, WORKED!

Disappointed not in FLS but in SOE. Why do the japs have to buy everything and then spoil everything? No better service providers out there?
