What if flip takes 5 hours, you're there for the first 4.30 of the flip by the time you log back in 24 people have paid 5 movs.

Doesn't sound as fair as the current system where that person at least has as reasonable chance as anyone except for the real grind addicts who of course will be able to buy 5 movs and goal hang to pay those movs, nothing gained.

Leave it as it is i'd say.

I'd rather something along the lines of "anyone who generated 1k plus contention during a 6 hour period preceding the flip gets an auto-invite".

Tired of flipping ports and being 20th in que on 2.5k points.

FLS staff is either unable or unwilling to ban people currently. I don't think introducing new bannable offences is a good idea.

There is absolutely nothing new about the crossteaming offense.

If you see someone crossteaming, file a ticket and we will investigate. Screenshots help.

GM Sasquatch, since you want this out in the open, can you confirm that:

--incidents are actually investigated, and not closed as soon as the (alleged) offender provides the slightest excuse, even if it is incoherent with the screenshot(s) provided?
--the FLS staff is capable of dealing with Cyrillic named characters?

If so, should I escalate tickets when they are improperly dealt with?

P.S. are Live Events applications being processed at all? I made one when it was announced the LE team is back in business, and still have not received an answer.

I somehow doubt you can escalate a ticket :P

All tickets are investigated and action is taken based on the results, regardless of the alphabet used in the character's name. These results are not discussed with the public.

And if I believe this not to have been the case, and have evidence of this, what should I do? Is there a customer service manager who can be contacted to appeal a ticket closed with an explanation that is, quite simply, a lie? I have tickets still open after several months, is there a way to force a GM to respond?

You can request escalation on any ticket. For crossteaming tickets, it is often the case that something appears as crossteaming, but isn't. Accusations of crossteaming are taken very seriously, but thinking someone should be banned because you saw something you think is crossteaming is not enough. If, after investigation, we find evidence of crossteaming, the crossteamers are banned.
