Default Avcom 3.0 Required.

Despite the recent changes, we still have the situation where somebody can run around you in circles and despite having ctrl-clicked a skill you cannot hit them, if you back into a corner they run in / run out over and over. Let's face facts, Avcom 3.0 is required. The recent changes - while welcome - are still within the same fundamentally flawed system that avcom 2.0 is/was.

Please look at it again. Please.

Just about everyone in the round table agreed that the system needed tweaking before the schools, but there's only so much dev time to go around.

I appreciate that, but I feel that dev time would be better used fixing something fundamentally flawed than something like fishing.

Yeah, but some things are easier to fix than others. Fishing isn't much more than a timer and a loot table and could probably be cut and pasted from other code. Changing an integral part of the game's network mechanics without breaking them is significantly more difficult.

I read an interview of Rhaegar by Ankou (a guy from JoL, a french MMORPG site) dating from september.

Rhaegar said that the FLS PotBS team includes game designers, motion makers, 2D/3D designers, scenarists and programmers. Most of players requests require programmers, but there were only game designers, motion makers and 2D/3D designers needed to develop fishing. Thus fishing wasn't developed instead of players requests, but in addition to players requests.

I don't know why FLS didn't said it to players on the forums.

Clearly I picked a bad example with fishing. If you take something like the society wallets & roles, over two - three milestones that were supposed to deliver society warehouses and have not. To have so little dev resource and waste it is criminal.

Just turn off boarding altogether. The ammount of players i've beaten with it I can count on one finger.

take away running during the instance with all player characters.

leave running in for group npc reinforcment.

take away the skill knockback or knock down whatever it is and replace it with something else

this will solve the problem..

Instead of crying to have knockback removed why dont you just use it.
I'm glad to see there are this many people who suck worse than I do at avcom lol.
But I dont think it needs to be changed or removed just because Im not that good at it.
I just have to learn to get better at it.
