how the hell is that possible?
http://www.20min.ch/news/dossier/cos...43436&index=10 a Ship with 4000 people on board passes Isola del Giglio in Italy at ~1 mile instead of ~5 miles... hits a rock ad sinks.... how is it possible that a capitain can actually drive such a big ship at this distance without any alarms or indications that he is wrong?... |

Looks like a fun job for a salvage team at least. I love ship wrecks in resort towns!

Cars come equipped with radar that'll detect nearby objects , but i guess thats to futuristic for the boat industry.

Apparently the captain wanted to please the ships butler by passing close by the butlers hometown.
Also apparently bassing closeby coastal towns at night with full lights is kinda custom in italy. |
